Shea is an artist of diverse talents. He creates mixed media paintings, sculptures in resin and paper, illustrations, comics and more.
He's illustrated a handful of children's books, and his comics and writing have appears on CulturalWeekly.com and McSweeney's Internet Tendency.
He's created numerous Luminaria light sculptures, which appear in happy living spaces across the United States. He also single-handedly designed and executed the 2016 holiday lighting display for NYC's 10 Brooklyn Industries shops.
He's lent his artistic skills to a number of NYC & Minneapolis based fabricators and artists like Mike Perry, Doug Argue, Ta-coumba T. Aiken, Square Design Inc, Design Fab and Kennedy Fabrications working on projects for clients such as Prada, Hermes, Kate Spade, Miami Art Basel, and a number of New York Fashion Week displays.
He currently resides in Brooklyn with a growing collection of synthesizers and his excellent cat, Lenore.
